Since the beginning, our goal has been to find and hire the most well-rounded, skilled and versatile designers out there.
Chad McNeer is just one of our longtime designers. He has been with I.O. Metro since 2008 and has tackled almost every type of space you can think of.
And just about every other kind of space you could think of. He combines traditional styling that he gets from his southern roots with cutting edge designs of today. At some point in time, Chad has specialized in small spaces, renovations, window treatments, and high-end residential and commercial design. Basically - he does it all.
Chad is just one of our many talented designers, each of our stores has more than qualified design-geniuses, so if you aren't near Chad's store (Jackson MS), come in to any of our other stores to get started on your dream design!
A little bit more about Mr. Chad McNeer:
He was born and raised in North Carrollton, Mississippi, giving him his southern roots that become apparent in some of his traditional designs. He says his creativity began when he started taking art lessons and drawing in elementary school.
He has a BFA in Interior Design with a minor in ceramics and textiles from Delta State University in Mississippi. After sticking around Mississippi and working with various Furniture and Design companies for a while, he made his way to Orange Beach, Alabama where he specialized in design of small spaces and renovations. After Hurricanes Ivan & Katrina, he moved back to Mississippi and just a few years later joined the I.O. Metro team, in October 2008. He has become a great asset to our Jackson, Mississippi location – both customers and fellow employees love working with him.
