She's a Brick, HOUSE {exterior}

Yesterday I posted the AT HOME article that showed this completed HOME MAKEOVER Project. Now I want to show you the process. The house had Great Bones, but Bad Guts. The Southern Living home was built ten years ago and it showed.

IT NEEDED SOME SERIOUS I.O. METRO-IZING!

Over the next two weeks I'll take you through the Before & After Photos of this home furnished by I.O. METRO.

{Curb Appeal}

First Impressions are Everything. The way a home Appears on the Outside tells a lot about how the house will Look Inside. For this home it was important for us to use the same Calming Colors Inside and Out. So, the PINK had to go. To create this flow, Sherwin-Williams colors Tony Taupe (Brick), Black Fox (Shutters & Front Door), and Divine White (Trim) were applied.

To create a more Welcoming Entrance a Glass Front Door replaced the solid wood door. Now when Entering the Home guests can see Straight through the house to the Golf Course behind. The skinny round columns were replaced by more Modern Square Columns, furniture and new lanterns were added. That horrible white garage was painted the same color as the brick to make it Blend in and the Landscaping received a much needed Makeover.

The home is on the golf course, so the Back was just as important as the front. Adding Patio Furniture in the same Hues as the Accent Paint Colors was key. Now the house looks Harmonious all the way around!
