Feather and down used in our I.O. METRO CUSTOM Private Label furniture is cleaned and sterilized using a 4-cycle wash process that produces a hypo-allergenic product. The feathers and down are washed, sterilized and steamed dried at high temperatures using special disinfectants that prevent, reduce and eliminate most bacteria, yeast, mold and off odors. Only biodegradable detergents are used in this process. All products are tested for quality and to ensure they meet state and federal regulations for sterilization.
