Before & After- Bathroom

An I.O. METRO Designer planned this bathroom from stud stage to completion. The clients wanted a modern, but warm feel.

The bathroom was long and narrow, so it was important to use specific design elements to insure it did not feel like a deep, dark tunnel.

In order to give the room an EARTHY MODERN feel, a pebbled granite and stainless steel vessel sinks were chosen.

Wall covering mirrors were placed from counter top to ceiling and floor to ceiling to make the space feel larger. They also reflected the natural light, creating a warm glow.

A light paint color and tiles were used to brighten the space and give it a modern feel. The art and pottery introduced the earthy tones and brought out the colors of the stained concrete and granite.

Overall, the light backdrop contrasted well with the dark floor and was a great stage for bringing in warmer hues. The stainless fixtures added the essential POP to the brown and white color scheme.
