Think Outside The Box

The I.O. METRO Designer was very imaginative when creating this living room. He didn't just line up, or group, all of the furniture around the fireplace or TV. As a result, multiple seating areas were created. We love this look, because it's great to have one space that is formal for entertaining and a more casual sitting area for reading (like the one in front of the fireplace).

The room really comes alive because of the mix of differing styles and textures. The modern art and rug, trunk and hides are juxtaposed giving the space a very original look. The creative way in which the room is positioned is very inspiring. Here we see that flow and artistry are much more important than following specific design rules.
