We've written several posts on arranging books in a bookshelf. Most of them have been on color blocking or arranging the books into a rainbow of colors. Today, we have a new design tip. Try placing the spines of your books facing in toward the shelf (so that you cannot see them). This creates a calming, neutral backdrop. Plus, it is a super easy way to update the look of your bookshelves without spending a dime.
