She's a Brick, HOUSE {master}

A Master Bedroom and Bath should be a retreat. In this Generic Space, we created our own little Oasis.

{BEDROOM}

BeforeWith this built-in in the corner you had to place the bed right in front of the entry from the hallway. It's never good to walk into a bedroom and run into the bed. By Removing the built-in we were able to Flip the Room Layout.

During In addition we Painted the Walls, took out the ceiling fan, Added more recessed lights and Removed the plantation shutters to Let in the Light!

AFTER By using Chests (instead of small nightstands) and a Tall King Bed the room feels more Expansive.

To add Depth, layer framed Photos over large pieces of Art.

To add height, hang drapery rods at the bottom of the Molding.

Symmetry always works well on the wall opposite the bed.

The TV doesn't have to monopolize the wall. Try hanging it over the door (out of initial sight).

The space has a great little niche in between the closet and bathroom. It was turned into a reading area with chairs and 1492 Collection chests.

WOW, those light bulbs were Intense. By walking in you could feel the heat radiating off of them. The showgirl look had to go!

Stainless Steel Vessel sinks, Gray toned Granite and new Hardware really Modernized the counter.

A shaggy wool rug adds texture and warmth.

Before the room felt cut in half because the mirror stopped about two feet from the ceiling. Thus, it was important to add a New Mirror that went all the way from the counter top to the ceiling.
